Sarah Dayley:

Sarah has been teaching, coaching & Choreographing Dance in Portland OR and Vancouver WA for more than 12 years. Her passion is music, dance, and working with the youth. She stresses proper technique, and her “Dayley Dance Academy Performing group” shows it, they have just returned from a duel performance at  Disneyland. She currently coaches Dance Team at Pacific Middle School and Union High School.

Bethanie Coleman:

Bethanie is currently an instructor at Dayley Dance Academy where she teaches creative movement, ballet, contemporary and jazz. She has been a choreographer for the Illumination Youth Contemporary Dance Company for 2 seasons. “I Thank each of my dancers. You are truly making dreams of mine come true. You inspire me to be better and I hope I do the same for you, I love you all!”

Mackenzie Dayley:

Mackenzie is an avid contemporary dancer and choreographer, and has choreographed for the Illumination Youth Contemporary Company. She also loves hip-hop, modern and ballet. She enjoys yoga and painting as well as dancing. Mackenzie graduated from Union High School in 2010. She currently teaches ballet & Modern dance styles at Dayley Dance Academy, and has been instructing at Thunderbird Dance Camp for the past 2 years.

Montana Haskell:

Montana is  a student  at Union High School and is a leader on the Union Titan Dance Team. She has been studying dance since the 6th grade with Sarah Dayley, where she was a member of the Pacific Middle School Dance Team and one of the very first students at the Dayley Dance Academy four years ago.  Montana specializes is ballet, pointe, and contemporary jazz.  She has been doing her apprenticeship with Sarah Dayley since summer of 2010 and is currently instructing ballet/jazz classes.

Alexis Jensen:

Alexis Jensen, is a sophomore at Washougal High School. Everyone that knows her knows she loves to dance above just about anything else! She’s been dancing with Dayley Dance Academy for the past 6 years, and in 2011, started instructing a creative movement class for 5-7 year olds. She has been involved with the Illumination Youth Contemporary Dance Company for the past 2 seasons as a dancer and in the 2012 show, as a choreographer as well.

Evangeline Martinez:

My name is Evangeline Martinez and this is my first year as a member of Illumination Dance Company. I love to dance! I’ve studied tap since I was 3 and over the past 14 years, I’ve enjoyed learning many different types of dance. This year is my fourth year as a member of the Union High School Dance Team. I have truly loved being part of the team. When I am not dancing or at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Tiffany Tangen:

Tiffany is currently a company member/choreographer for the Pure Dance Company in Portland Oregon, assistant coach/choreographer for the Mt. View Lightning Dance Team in Vancouver Washington, an instructor for Thunderbird Dance Camp since 2003 and is an alumni of George Fox University.  She received her dance training at Terpsichoria Dance Studio in Clackamas, Oregon and was a 4 year member and captain of the Mt. View Lightning Dance Team, where she was chosen for the Emily Beth Haight Scholarship in 2003.  She specializes in tap, jazz, contemporary and lyrical dance styles and workshops.

Angela Thomas:

Angela Thomas, originally from Sandy, Utah, is new to the Northwest. She has a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Modern Dance from the University of Utah
where she performed with the department’s Performing Dance Company. She also performed with Weber State University’s Orchesis Dance Theater. At the Academy of Ballet Arts she studied ballet for ten years and performed with Mountain West Ballet. Along with eight years of teaching experience, she has choreographed for universities, elementary and high schools, private studios, church groups, and multiple musical theater productions.
